'Affordable Small Radio Telescope'

Radio Astronomy is now possible with Affordable Small Radio Telescope. ASRT is developed by NCRA and it is very easy to build ASRT. Direct to Home satellite TV receiving system is used in ASRT. With ASRT it is possible to observe Sun. As solar maxima is in 2012 ASRT is really good tool to observe Sun. This system work on 11 MHz KU band and professional radio astronomers not us this frequency for observation. More information about ASRT visit NCRA-TIFR web site for more information.
